About the Principal Civil/Structural Engineer:
Engr. Jerry B. Maratas is a licensed civil engineer with a wide experience in structural planning and designing. He is a Structural Engineer, Designer and Consultant to various engineering projects, some of which costs multi million pesos. He serve as a structural consultant to a number of established architectural and design firms, construction firms and several architects.
Engr. Maratas obtained his Masters of Engineering degree with specialization in Structural Engineering from the University of San Carlos as an academic scholar . He is now an instructor in the Department of Civil Engineering of the University of San Carlos and handles Structural Engineering subjects both in the graduate and undergraduate levels.
He is also a Reviewer in Engineering Mathematics and Structural Engineering subjects at the Besavilla Engineering Review Center. He took his review at this review center and became a consistent first placer of their pre-board exams. He then placed no. 13th in the November 2001 nationwide licensure examination garnering an average score of 92.90%.
Engr. Maratas is a Regular Member of the prestigious Association of Structural Engineers of the Philippines (ASEP). He is also a Life Member of the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE) and served as a member of the National Student Chapter Affairs Committee of PICE for the year 2009.
